About Black Sand Cove

Black Sand Cove, located on the Caribbean shore two miles south of Charlestown, has gardens designed by Julie Toll, winner of many Gold Medals at the Chelsea Flower Show in England, including one for her Caribbean-themed project in May 2003. On our peaceful corner of the island, you'll hear only the sounds of nature: the wind in the banana trees, the birds, the crickets, and the waves on the shore of the secluded beach. The 360° views provide fabulous sunrises and sunsets, and the passing spectacle of the changing clouds all day long. This is a great place to get away from it all, and relax, write, paint, play music, or just give your mind a rest.
