We had an excellent stay at Black Sand Cove which is probably the most peaceful location on the island. There's nothing to hear except the sound of goats and donkeys with the occasional vehicle going past on the coast road. The house is very comfortable (especially the lounge furniture) and the gardens are really exceptionally beautiful. We loved lying in the pool watching the sea and then enjoying the sunset in the fabulous garden room. Although quite close to Charlestown, we recommend having a car as you can't walk to the bus stop on the main road. All in all, a great rental house, well maintained and perfect for a quiet, restful holiday.

Black Sand Cove was truly a little piece of paradise in this mad world we live in. The house was tastefully decorated and garden beautiful. It was lovely to come back from our explorations and jump into the pool to cool down. And I can still hear the wind and surf in my distant memories. We will definitely return!!
